Hiking in Death Valley

Each winter since 2001 I've taken a week-long trip to Death Valley to go hiking with my friend Chris Schmandt and his family.

This image is blurry, but I included it to give some idea of the scale of the sand dunes near Stovepipe Wells—that's me wandering down the side of the dune.
